  • 6 (6-ounce) orange roughy fillets
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

  1. Place fish in a heavy-duty zip-top plastic bag. Combine water and next 5 ingredients. Pour over fish. Seal bag, and turn to coat fish. Marinate in refrigerator 1 to 2 hours, turning once.
  2. Preheat broiler.
  3. Remove fish from marinade; discard marinade. Sprinkle both sides of each fillet with sesame seeds. Place fish on rack of a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil 6 to 8 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
