One of the best recipes from Cooking Light ever. I used applewood smoked bacon which I think added to the flavor. This is one I'd happily make for company.

I loved the combination of cabbage, apples, and bacon. Will try this recipe again with pork.

Although interesting, low cal and a nice change, I thought it definitely lacked flavor. Would not make again.

This is one dish where it just didn't come out the way I planned, it was total operator error. I over salted my dish which killed my scallops and did not have the best scallops as they didn't have any at the store. I'm going to try again with the Applewood Smoked Bacon and expensive scallops and see if its as good as everyone else has reviewed.

Another delicious, flavorful dish for people with a complex palette. Simple ingredients complement the scallops well and worth buying the best freshest scallops you can afford. Don't scrimp on the centerpiece of the dish.

This dish was so easy to make and very tasty. I love scallops and can't wait to make this again. The cabbage was good and I liked the combo of bacon, apples and cabbage. Needs a dash more salt though.

Delicious. I made this for our monthly "I never made it before" dinner and it was a big hit. Will definitely made it again.

This is a pleasant surprise. It was so good and easy to make. My husband liked and he wanted the butter, grilled/broiled version. So this will be used again.

I thought the favors were weird. The scallops were good, the cabbage mixture was not very good.

Made this last night and served it with a side of brown rice. My 8 year old daughter couldn't get enough! I used baby scallops instead because they were cheaper and it turned out great!

I thought the pairing of the cabbage and apple with the scallops was a little unusual, but it is delicious! I thought the flavor of the scallops really came through but was complemented by the vinegar. I love steamed cabbage, so that was perfect. This was my first time making scallops, and it was a winner.

The dish was great. I especially enjoyed the cabbage mix. In some ways the scallops seemed lost -- would probably also be good with a stronger flavored meat.

My husband does not like seafood, so I substituted pork. I bought 1 pound of thin-cut pork chops, which was 4 chops. So, each chop cut into four pieces was a "scallop equivalent." It brings the calorie count up to 300 per serving by my calculations.

I agree with the readers who think this is a better recipe served with pork instead of fish. By itself everything was tasty, but it is a very strange combination. Next time I try this recipe, I will make it with kielbasi instead of fish.
