I really enjoyed this, although the pea puree was a little sweet. My boyfriend, however, didn't like it at all. I would probably make it again using a different type of peas. I served it with crusty bread and steamed baby carrots.

Fantastic. I added some lemon rind to the pea mash and was not shy with the herbs. Since I did not have tarragon, I substituted parsley (recommended by another reviewer). Really tasty and complimented the simple preparation of the salmon.

This is the worst recipe I have ever made. I threw out the leftover peas because I could never eat them again. The taste was horrible. 1-star is too high a rating for this. I actually removed my bookmark from this page so that I don't even see this recipe again.

Delicious! I did cook the salmon in a combination of butter and olive oil. The peas were sweet and herb-flavored, and a unique base for the salmon filet. Will definitely make this one again!

I have not made this recipe yet but wanted to add a thought based on the reviews. It looks like a good recipe but I know that I hate tarragon. I would never put it on anything. It has a kind of licorice taste. I would recommend making the peas without the tarragon and see how it goes. Substituting it for parsley sounds like a good idea.

I really enjoyed this recipe and found it very, very good. The only changes I made: when cooking the leeks, (when I do it again, which I will..., I will throw in some garlic) I added some white wine for fluid. Rather than a food processor, I used a stick blender. I did not have fresh tarragon, so I added a small amount of dried. I cooked the salmon in the same pan as the leeks, and spread a little bit of olive oil over the filets before searing. I thought it was great, husband said he would have jazzed it up a bit by adding red pepper flakes to the peas. Will definitely try it again.

I agree, if you haven't made it and eaten it, don't rate it! Some of us love tarragon!

The herbed peas are really yummy and a good accent for the simplicity of the salmon filets! Note to mmmbanya: if you haven't made the recipe and don't even like the ingredients, don't rate the recipe with a two star review - it's rude and presumptuous.
