  • 1/4 teaspoon Simple Syrup
  • 1 1/4 ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 1/8 teaspoon angostura bitters
  • 1/2 teaspoon anisette
  • Lemon twist


  1. Combine first 3 ingredients, blending well. Set aside.
  2. Pour anisette into a chilled old-fashioned glass. Tilt glass to coat well. Discard anisette.
  3. Strain bourbon mixture; pour into glass. Serve garnished with lemon twist.
