Sazerac Cocktail

Ingredients

1/4 teaspoon Simple Syrup
1 1/4 ounces bourbon whiskey
1/8 teaspoon angostura bitters
1/2 teaspoon anisette
Lemon twist

Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients, blending well. Set aside.

Pour anisette into a chilled old-fashioned glass. Tilt glass to coat well. Discard anisette.

Strain bourbon mixture; pour into glass. Serve garnished with lemon twist.
