Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup(s) Quick rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup(s) Butter
  • 26 Vanilla carmels
  • 3 tablespoon(s) half-and-half
  • Bag of mini choc chips

Preparation

  1. Mix flour, sugar, soda and rolled oats. Cut in butter until particles are fine crumbs. Reserve one cup of crumbs. Pat remaining crumbs in buttered square pan, eith 8 or 9". Bake at 350 for 10 min. Spread with Carmel mixture(see below) and sprinkle choclate chips over top and then spread remaining crumbs over top of this. Bake another 12-15 min

  2. Melt carmels and half and half over hot water.
