This recipe is pretty good, and I usually don't eat a lot of green beans. Microwaving the beans made it really quick!! I am not a heavy salt person so 1/2 tsp was too much for taste. Probably a light pinch would suffice. I will definitely make this again.

These were great...very fresh and tasty. I did steam in microwave using a ceramic dish w/glass lid and had to cook 11 min. Then, it sat in dish, while I was preparing others things, before I continued in pan with bacon. I did not blanche in cold water, I wanted them to keep warm. Turned out perfectly!

Simple and delicious. I added fresh rosemary and dried thyme to give the dish a thanksgiving flavor.
