How to Make It

Place potatoes, sausage, flour, lemon juice, cumin, orange juice, corn syrup and basil into a mixing bowl. Mix the batter very well. Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 2 tablespoons olive oil in a saute pan over medium-high heat. When the butter is melted, reduce the heat to low. Place the batter into the saute pan, making small pancakes. Cook pancakes for about 4 minutes on each side.
