Southern Living

Ingredients

Brie
bacon
Raisin-walnut bread
Apple butter
Butter, softened

Preparation

Place Brie and bacon on raisin-walnut bread spread with apple butter. Spread outside of sandwiches with butter. Cook in a pre-heated panini press 2 to 3 minutes or until golden.

Wine Suggestion: "For white, try a Chenin Blanc, such as Champalou Vouvray from the Loire Valley ($17) or a California version such as Ballentine Vineyards ($17). If you just have to have red, then try Beaujolais or California Pinot Noir." --Richard Robinson, Wine Director, The Wine Shop at Western Supermarket, Mountain Brook, Alabama
