- 1/2 pound salt pork, sliced
- 2 medium-size cooking apples, cored, peeled, and sliced into rings
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How to Make It
Fry pork in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crisp. Drain pork on paper towels; set aside. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings in skillet.
Fry apples in skillet until lightly browned and tender, turning once.
Place apples around pork on serving platter. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
