Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (16-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil in a large skillet until tender. Stir in tomatoes, chili powder, and salt; simmer 30 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
