  • 4 to 5 plum tomatoes, quartered and seeded
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 small jalapeño pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped cilantro


  1. Process first 6 ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides. Stir in cilantro. Chill until ready to serve.
