Russian Tea Cookies - via Karen

Lauren's favorite , buttery and delicious

Ingredients

  • 1 cup(s) butter
  • 4 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 2-1/4 cup(s) flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 3/4 cup(s) finely chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 cup(s) powdered sugar

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add dry ingredients, then vanilla and nuts. Shape into balls the size of a quarter and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325degrees for 14 to 17 minutes. While still hot, roll in powdered sugar, roll again when cooled off.
