I made the rum syrup as per the instructions given in this recipe and that resulted into a fire incident because as soon as i added rum to the mixture of boiling butter & sugart , it caught fire n thanks to my good luck it did not resultinto a major fire accident. Later on I checked rum recipes on other sites and learned was that rum should not be added in syrup when the mixture is on flame
