Rum Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons rum
Preparation
- Melt butter in top of a double boiler over boiling water. Stir in sugar and cream; cook over boiling water, stirring frequently, 30 minutes or until thickened. Cool slightly; stir in rum. Serve warm.
