Rum-Raisin Arborio Pudding

    Flavor is good, and Arborio is the perfect rice for this, but after more than 4 hours in the slow cooker, it hadn't even begun to cook up! Rice was hard and crunchy, and little, if any, of the liquid had been taken up. Another 45 minutes on HIGH, followed by finishing it stove-top, and it did set up to a pudding. Better to just cook it on the stove! Also, I suggest using 3 cups whole milk with the added sugar, rather than the evaporated milk plus water. Never did like the taste of evap...
