I have made this soup a part of our Thanksgiving tradition since it was published in 1998. Friends and Family love this soup and the rum cream side......you can't go wrong with this elegant dish. A great way to start off your Thanksgiving meal.
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/8 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dark rum
- Beat all ingredients at high speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
