- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup pan drippings
- 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
How to Make It
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; whisk in flour, and cook, whisking constantly, 1 to 2 minutes or until golden and smooth. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and pan drippings; increase heat to medium-high, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or to desired thickness. Stir in remaining ingredients.
