Roasted Broccoli with Buttered Walnuts

    I first found this recipe in the Southern Living Christmas Cookbook. I make it for Thanksgiving and my family fights for the last bites. It is soooo good. Even my broccoli disliker will eat this! I pretty much make it as written. The only challenge is having oven space to roast the broccoli and keeping it hot until it gets to the table. It's a keeper.

    This was a nice alternative to plain steamed broccoli--nice combination of flavor and texture. Everyone enjoyed it. The only change I made was lightly pouring lemon juice over the broccoli at the end instead of using a fresh lemon.
