Easy way to put delicious touch to asparagus. Everyone at Easter dinner asked what I had done differently. Will make again for sure!

My boyfriend made this last night which tells you how easy it is haha. The recipe was very yummy and had great flavors. He did add some extra garlic and omitted the lemon rind. I liked how it wasn't soaked in oil like a lot of other recipes. This made the flavor different in a good way.

Another outstanding Asparagus recipe. The Balsamic Vinegar and butter combination is YUMMY. Very quick to make.

It really is wonderful. Great flavors. So simple to make. My husband doesn't usually care for asparagus, but he likes this dish. It's become one of our favorites sides to serve. Goes with just about anything.

I recommend this to anyone regardless of skill level. It's simple, very elegant and extraordinarily tasty. I've never served it that it didn't WOW people. Hmmm, think I'll make it again tonight.

One of our favorite ways to enjoy asparagus. Only change I made was to cut spears into bite sized pieces before roasting. Melted butter in large skillet ,added soy/balsamic mixture, and then added asparagus to skillet to toss. Goes great with CL Chicken Scallopini.

I've made this twice now, both times exactly as written. This is how I will be making asparagus from now on. The lemon zest gives it light and unexpected zing. I tend to over-roast asparagus, so next time I will bake it fewer minutes.

Pretty much the best asapargus ever. Don't overcook or it gets really wimpy. The sauce is insanely good, although I'm sure it's not very light when I pile it on!

I couldn't believe how good these were! I was pleasantly surprised. We don't normally like asparagus, but these were delicious. I will definitely make again!

This is my 'go to' recipe for asparagus. It's quick, it's simple, and I always have the ingredients for the balsamic butter. It works well for green beans too.

Nothing to add to the chorus of praise, other than more praise. This is a simple, easy, and utterly delicious recipe. After eating this, all other asparagus recipes may feel like second-best.

Fabulous recipe! Followed the recipe exactly as written and received numerous compliments and recipe requests. It has already been requested for Easter dinner this year and I have made it twice this week alone! Great recipe-will always make asparagus this way from now on. Was delicious and SUPER EASY!!

This is a fantastic side dish. I prefer to roast the very thin asparagus and use any leftover browned butter on rice.

Love, love, love this recipe, and have relied on it as a tasty, easy side to so many recipes! You really don't need substitutions, but if you omit the cooking spray you'll be just fine. I really only use half the sauce for asparagus for a light coating, but if you really want to wow people you could use the full recipe. It's delicate, nutty, rich and I love that the asparagus is cooked maintaining a bit of crispness. Anyone who isn't an asparagus lover may be converted with this recipe! My family loves every veggie on the planet, but when trying to be creative with seasonal veggies sometimes the routine needs to be changed up a bit. This recipe will do it. I've served this along side poultry, pasta, beef...it really goes with anything. Great for special occasions - your guests will be impressed, and only you will know it's light, quick, and easy!

Simple yet delicious. I served this with onion cheese burgers from the grill with all the fixin’s. No complaints here.

Both my boyfriend and I agree that this simple side dish is of restaruant quality. It was very crisp and just the right amount of flavor, not overpowering. I followed the directions exactly and served it with baked citrus salmon and wild rice. This one went in the recipe box!

Sounds weird, tastes AMAZING. I would be happy with this if served in a fancy resto. Doesn't taste "light". My new favorite veg dish.

This is my "go-to" asparagus recipe - the roasting mellows out the asparagus and the balsamic browned butter is a fantastic compliment to the vegetable. I use 1 bunch of asparagus and roast for 12-14 minutes (no turning / flipping) and it's pretty perfect. I also pour the sauce right into the jelly roll pan after removing the asparagus from the oven as the extra heat makes it more of a glaze and adheres the sauce to the asparagus better. It's great for a weeknight meal and that something extra in taste that can elevate it to a special occassion too.

Ever since I tried this a few years ago, it is my standard method of cooking asparagus. Sometimes I will toss asparagus with a tsp of olive oil and drizzle with the soy and balsamic before roasting instead of browning the butter, but the brown butter is a nice touch. I agree that you do not want to overcook it.

This is a side dish staple. It is so easy, quick and has an amazing flavor. I use the same sauce recipe for Brussel Sprouts and Broccoli, but roast them a few minutes longer than the asparagus.

Maybe I didn't brown the butter right, but I followed Cooking Lights directions for common cooking mistakes, and I certainly didn't burn it. I'd rather eat the asparagus plain than with this sauce!

Amazing and very easy. Even my father who doesn't really like asparagus helped himself to a second serving. Made with a bundle from the grocery store that was a lot less than 40 but e nice thing about this recipe is its very easy to make what you need with it. Didn't adjust the sauce quantity and it was still perfect.

I made this for a New Years party and everyone loved it, even the carnivorous guys! I like the addition of the soy sauce and I use this combination often when I make asparagus now. Make sure you pay attention to the sauce because it can burn easily.
