Ingredients
- Vegetable cooking spray
- 1 pound smoked turkey sausage, sliced
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 (14 1/2-ounce) cans no-salt-added whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 bay leaves
- 12 ounces rigatoni (short tubular pasta), uncooked
Preparation
- Coat a Dutch oven with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot. Add sausage, onion, and garlic; cook 3 minutes or until sausage is browned, stirring often.
- Add tomato and next 3 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove and discard bay leaves.
- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat; drain. Place pasta in a large serving bowl; add sausage mixture, and toss well.
