I made this soup for the first time and my husband and I absolutely love it. We are a big soup family and he has told me multiple times this week that this is his favorite soup. The prep was a little time consuming but definitely worth the final product. I made the recipe as is but omitted the sherry, only because we didn't have any. It was fantastic without it. I pureed the suggested 2 cups of soup and left the rest as is. We enjoyed having texture from some of the sliced mushrooms. I will be making this often.

So-so recipe; kind of bland. still haven't figured out how to get a smoother texture on my soups. WWers points plus value of 3pts per serving is nice.
