    Wow that is all I can say about these. We made these for our gourmet group and they were voted "best dessert ever" for gourmet group. Highly recommend as you will be the talk of the night.

    Excellent! Well worth the time to make it. A great dessert for entertaining, esp. since it can be made a day or so ahead of time. We always make the Crème Anglaise the day before since it is easily re-warmed. The soufflé cakes can be made ahead of time, but is best if made just before serving - though still extremely good for the next few days. This receipt can easily make ten 4-oz cakes and there is more then enough sauce for all ten and still have left over. We also found that baking for 15 minutes is on the short side, it seems to be closer to 20-25 minutes.

    Delicious, with or without the sauce! Yes, I found I needed to cook them 25 minutes, as they were still raw at 15. Also, maybe it's my electric stove (I question the efficacy of the burners), but I needed to heat the sauce at a little under medium-high (rather than medium-low) to achieve thickening.
