Time: 30 minutes. This quick crumble uses granola for the topping. It's a fantastic way to make a rhubarb dessert without the fuss of a dough or batter.

  • 3 cups coarsely chopped rhubarb
  • 3/4 to 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet granola
  • Sweetened whipped cream


  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a medium bowl, combine rhubarb, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Evenly spread mixture in an 8- by 8-in. baking dish. Scatter butter over rhubarb, then cover with granola.
  2. 2. Bake until rhubarb is tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
