Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey breast
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Cooking spray
  • 4 (1.6-ounce) light whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup (2 ounces) tub-style light cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup red pepper jelly
  • 16 thin slices cucumber
  • 1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts

Preparation

  1. 1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.
  2. 2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; coat pan with cooking spray. Add turkey patties; cook 6 minutes on each side or until done.
  3. 3. Place patties on bottom halves of buns. Top each with 1 tablespoon each of cream cheese and jelly, 4 cucumber slices, and 1 tablespoon alfalfa sprouts. Top with top halves of buns.
