- 1 medium head red cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar

How to Make It
Cook cabbage and onion in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet or Dutch oven over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, peel and chop apples; toss with lemon juice. Stir apple mixture, sugar, salt, and pepper into cabbage mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
