I made these for Christmas for the first time this year and used seedless raspberry jam. They are so easy, delicious and festive! Will make again!

I made these with not much hope that I would like them, but because I am on a diet, I thought I would try. Well..........they were super, everyone loved them. So now its back to the kitchen to make another batch! YUM!!

Followed directions exactly, however, did not get 2 dozen! What did I do wrong? Very tasty, but can't figure out what went wrong. Please email me suggestions! Am an experienced baker so can't imagine what went wrong.

I've reviewed this cookie before. Just made for a cookie exchange party as it's one of my favorites. I made this year with vanilla extract in the icing because I ran out of almond. Get the almond extract! It's much better from what I remember...

I have made this cookie for almost 5 years now and it is a favorite! The recipe is very easy. The cookie is crumbly and not too sweet, just right for the jelly topping and drizzle. This is an excellent recipe!

Delicious! I had a little trouble at first with the dough. It was very sticky, kinda like peanut butter, so it was hard to roll. (I ended up just molding it). But once they were baked, I forgot all about that. These are very tasty and look really pretty! Step-by-step photos on my blog: http://me-myself-and-pie.blogspot.com/2009/11/raspberry-strippers.html

I have made these several times and used raspberry jam and blackberry jam. Always a hit, my office loves them! Really simple to make and don't taste low cal at all. Worth making!

Made these cookies last night to make sure they were going to be up to par to send them as Christmas cookie gifts, and these definitely were not. They were good sure but had several issues: 1st the jam bubbled up over the indentation and got all over the pan. Not that big of a deal in terms of taste wise, but for presentation this was a negative. They also didn't taste all that great! They were just okay but I will definitely not be sending them as cookie gifts.

These cookies are so delicious! I used low fat cream cheese in place of butter and tasted great. I thought 1/2 cup of powder sugar was a bit much for the icing. I had to add more lemon juice and water to make it drizzle. I did not notice anyone mention this in the reviews, maybe I did something wrong. Also, make sure you flatten the log enough after you roll it. The raspberry preserve will go on much better if you do this. Anyway, they turned out great in the end! Go bake some, you won't be dissapointed!

These are really great. Very much like thumbprint cookies, but easier.

This is sooooo good. My favorite cooking yet. I used splenda instead of sugar, and i made one log with strawberry jam, and the other with grape. It was delicious. The dough was a bit hard to work with. I am not sure if i did something wrong or if it is supposed to be like that, but it was very crumbly and dry. In the end, after shaping and baking, it turn out delicious with great texture.

These cookies are a big hit at my house! I now have a new recipe to add to my traditional holiday cookie repertoire. I double the recipe each time I make them, and still there are never enough cookies to go around!

Ok.. though not as good as expected from the other reviews. Had no trouble making them, though the topping dries very quickly.. I had to keep heating it in the microwave in order to make it liquid enough to drizzle on the cookies. Easy enough to make and look wonderful.. but not sure I'll make again.

I found this recipe several years ago, and it's become one of my FAVORITES! I've since added it to my list of Christmas recipes. Easy to make, and I love the subtle vanilla flavor. I've also used a "four fruit jam" when I didn't have raspberry, but I always use a good quality jam. GREAT!

Very good. I am curious how they might be with a hot pepper jam like raspberry hot pepper?
