This is a wonderful brunch cocktail! Like a cross between a raspberry sorbet punch and a mimosa. Lightly effervescent from the sparkling wine. I used an American sparkling wine (Gruet), but any variety - Champagne, prosecco, cava etc. - would work, to answer another rater's query.
