Raisin Filling

Yield about 3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 1/4 cups water, divided
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

How to Make It

  1. Combine raisins, 1 cup water, sugar, and vanilla in a medium saucepan, stirring well. Combine flour and remaining water, mixing well; add to raisin mixture, stirring well. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 25 minutes or until thickened.
