I made 1/3 this recipe as a side because it had great reviews. I didn't think it was that good. It went okay with the dinner but flavor just wasn't there. I used onion for the shallot and subbed slivered almonds and that was fine because it gave a nice crunch.

Very, very good. I like how quickly this came together, yet how much flavor it has. It's definitely a fantastic dish to serve when trying to move away from empty carbs. You can read my full review at Taking On Magazines: http://bit.ly/13kE7Mh

Quinoa is my favorite new side and sometimes main dish. The herbs and pine nuts go nicely in this recipe; great side.

Really great!! I used dried parsley because I didn't have fresh. That was the only substitution I made. The recipe added a lot of interest to what can be a sort of blah grain. Will definitely make again.

This came together quickly and was tasty. Great side for the soy marmalade salmon. I subbed onion for shallots and skipped the herbs.

Wouldn't change a thing. This is my favorite quinoa recipe now.

My first time making quinoa. Used onion instead of shallots, but it turned out well. Eating grain-free. This will be a staple.

Awesome and tasty method for cooking quinoa. Very healthful and tasty with a variety of proteins; we made with the orange marmalade and soy-glazed salmon from the same month CL. Loved it!

Outstanding. I didn't even add the fresh herbs at the end. This will be a constant side dish in my household.
