In a sauce pan, heat ghee/butter over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle. Add red pepper and mix well. Now add the diced tomatoes, and salt. Mix well and cook of 2-3 min. Cover the pan reduce the heat to medium-low.Cook for 10-15 min (steering occasionally) or until the tomatoes are mushy.
