Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (15 1/4-ounce) can lima beans, drained
  • 1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn with red and green bell peppers, drained
  • 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat; add bell pepper and onion, and sauté until tender. Add beans and remaining ingredients; cook 10 minutes or until liquid has evaporated.
