Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (8-ounce) can no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 3/4 cup frozen seasoning blend (such as McKenzie's)
  • 1/2 cup thick and chunky salsa
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups uncooked instant rice

Preparation

  1. 1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cover, remove from heat, and let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
