I have been making this for 20 years and it is always a hit. I use Jones Dairy Farm braunschwager and sometimes I use thyme instead of nutmeg. People can't believe you make your own pate'. I just smile and say thank you.
Quick No-Cook Paté

- 8 ounces liverwurst
- 5 teaspoons port
- 1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Sliced baguette or crackers
- In the bowl of a food processor, combine the liverwurst, port, parsley, and nutmeg. Puree until smooth and creamy. Serve with a baguette or crackers.
