  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 1/2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Combine butter and egg white (at room temperature); beat well. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating mixture well after each addition. Gently stir in vanilla.
