Great sauce. It was good with kid-tastic pizzadillas which is a recipe on this site. Instead of crushed tomatoes and fresh basil, I used diced tomatoes and dried basil and it was very good.
Quick Marinara Sauce

- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes, including liquid
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh basil
- Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, about 1 minute or until pale golden. Add tomato paste, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Add crushed tomato, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in basil.
