Quick Marinara Sauce

You can whip up this five-ingredient homemade marinara sauce in about 20 minutes. Use the highest-quality canned tomatoes you can find for the best flavor. 

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes, including liquid
  • 3 tablespoons minced fresh basil

How to Make It

  1. Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic, and cook, stirring constantly, about 1 minute or until pale golden. Add tomato paste, and cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute. Add crushed tomato, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in basil.
