Having family from New Orleans, this dish is pretty authentic and so easy to prepare. I intend to make one slight addition the next time I make it by adding a little shrimp powder to achieve a deeper seafood flavor. My husband really enjoyed it, and it was even better the next day. This is great to prepare for guests along with a nice salad.

I give it Four stars but its not worthy of a special occasion. Just a simple week night meal. Very delicious and didn't take long to make at all. I also added mushrooms that i had in the fridge and needed to be used, it was a really nice touch. I will make it again!!
