- 3 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 (16-ounce) package powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
How to Make It
Melt chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring well.
Remove from heat. Add sugar and milk; stir until well blended. Add pecans, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Press mixture into a buttered 8-inch square baking pan. Chill and cut into 1-inch squares. Store in airtight containers.
