- 1/2 cup(s) butter
- 1 cup(s) self-rising flour
- 2 cup(s) sugar, divided
- 1 cup(s) milk
- 4 cup(s) sliced peaches or other fruit or 2 cans of drained fruit
- Melt butter in a 9x13 pan. Combine 1 cup sugar and milk. Mix well. Pour mixture over melted butter and do not stir. Combine fruit and remaining 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over batter; do not stir.
- Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
