Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth. Pour 3/4 cup ice cream mixture into each of 4 glasses. Top each with about 2 teaspoons whipped topping; sprinkle with the additional pumpkin-pie spice, if desired.

This was delish, but I added more canned pumpkin (2 heaping tbsp's more) and extra pumpkin pie spice and also 1/4 tsp cinnamon. I only added half the milk as well. It really tasted like pumpkin pie made this way!!

This was really, really good. I found it a little gritty from the brown sugar at first. Maybe I didn't blend it enough. But over the course of the time it took me to drink it, it dissolved and it was smooth and creamy by the end. Would definitely recommend!
This was just ok for me. I was really excited to try it, but it was a disappointment. It tasted just like canned pummpkin. I'm sure I could doctor this to make it better, but I'd rather just make something else like the chocolate chip pumpkin bread that I know is amazing.
awesome! I don't even really like pumpkin pie but loved this shake! BTW-I froze the extra pumpkin and tried making a breakfast version using vanilla yogurt. I do not recommend that! yuck! oh well at least we found a new healthy-ish dessert!
