Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies

Healthy since they use apple sauce instead of oil. Adjust flour to make typical cookie dough stiffness. My kids and I made up this recipe. Came out pretty good; still working on fine-tuning it.

  • 1 cup(s) flour
  • 1 cup(s) wheat flour
  • 1 cup(s) apple sauce
  • 1 cup(s) oatmeal
  • 1 cup(s) pumpkin from a can
  • 1 whole(s) egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon(s) pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
  • 1 cup(s) brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 cup(s) raisins
  • 1/2 cup(s) pecans chopped


  1. 1) Mix all dry ingredients together
  2. 2) Mix all wet ingredients together
  3. 3) Combine wet and dry together
  4. 4) Make golf ball size balls with dough and place on greased cookie sheet
  5. 5) Bake @ 375*F for 10 - 15 minutes
