  • 1envelpope unflaored gelatine
  • 2/3 C firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4C evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs seperated
  • 1 1/2c canned pumpkin
  • 1/4c granulated sugar


  1. Combine gelatine , brown sugar , salt & spices in double boiler
  2. Stir in egg yolks and pumpkin
  3. Cool till gelatine disloved and mixture is heated through approx 10 min
  4. stiring

  5. Remove from heat , chill till mixture starts to mound when mixture is droped from the wooden spoon

  6. Beat egg whites till fluffy and stiff,add sugar and heat till very stiff

  7. Fold into mixture and put in cooked pie shell 9 inch chill
