I enjoyed this recipe and love that it is cooked via slow cooker as it makes busy nights much easier. I used a very lean cut of port and it was too dense and dry...would tray again with the pork butt.

I made this last night. HOLY MOLY GUACAMOLE! this is the best beef filling for a taco I have ever made. This is great! I used the slow cooker for 4 hrs on high and it was great. I did not put the cilantro in, just forgot, and still unbelievable! I had "cheesy black bean mash"(from southern living - march 2008) with it. All that was missing was some margaritas. OLAY!

Just made this and it was FANTASTIC! So easy to throw together and let cook all day, I did the 8 hours on low and it came out great. Don't let the Nutrional Information numbers scare you off, these portions are HUGE and the meat will serve far more than the 6 servings listed. I added a little bit of shredded lettuce to each taco and we loved them! Definetly a keeper!

Great recipe. Cooked for 9 hours on low and pork was so tender and flavorful. Served with fat-free flour tortillas, lime juice, and shredded mozzarella. A couple of nights later, we mixed with some BBQ sauce on the stove top and had sandwiches. Delicious!

Tried this after reading the great reviews and was not impressed. It came out dry and "eh" tasting. My fiance did not like it either. I think I'll stick with BBQ pulled pork tacos.
