This was fabulous mixed with white rice and put into tacos. The sauce turns out amazing. The cocoa gives it a nice mole kind of flavor.

This recipe was very easy to prepare & had great flavor. I found that it was even better re-heated the next day. I would make this recipe again or recommend it to others.

We are huge fans of Rick Bayless, so I had a jar of his Frontera roasted poblano salsa on hand to use for this recipe. I used mild, but you could definitely turn up the heat with medium or hot. I added half of a sliced red onion on top of the pork as well. This is definitely a great recipe for sharing and we will make the pork again!

This is outstanding. It is a very simple recipe, but is incredibly delicious. Instead of pork shoulder, we used the leaner pork loin roast and Pace Three Pepper salsa, and it turned out just fine. Very juicy and flavorful. Can't say enough about how easy and good this is.

This is one of our absolute favorites! Comes out right every time. We use homemade salsa, and we love it made with that. Make sure you trim the fat- or it can get greasy. This is a staple in our house!

Good recipe, but way too salty. Fortunately we made the tacos with homemade salsa and I think that masked the salt a little bit. We did use the lime, it helped too. Skipped the cilantro. Really, really easy recipe.

It was wonderful, the flavor was really good and it was very easy. I used wild pork meat loins. The only thing I would change is adding more liquid to the crock pot, mine was a little try by the time we got home and ate it. When we reheated it for left overs I added some water and more salsa! This will become a staple in my house.

Came out great! Used medium salsa and a little ancho chili powder - it was a little spicy but had great flavor. Was not dry at all. Had lots of left over sauce in the crock pot that we used in our tacos. Very easy also!

This dish was super easy to make. Unfortunately, it was not good at all. I used roasted salsa, not sure if that was the problem or not. The meat was moist but had a dry after taste. In theory this is a good idea but the seasoning was very off. My husband ate the left overs smothered in BBQ sauce just so he could stand the taste.

This was delicious and so easy. I wouldn't change a thing. Next time, we are going to try a sandwich instead of the tortillas, as they fell apart instantly.

I don't normally give 5 stars to a recipe I've altered, but this is just so simple and company-worthy, I had to do it. I used a single pork tenderloin, cut into 4 pieces to fit a 1-qt. crock, rubbed it liberally with homemade Seasoning For Tacos from another site, then poured a cup of fresh salsa over the top. After 8 hrs on low, it shredded easily. I put it back into the crock, tossed it in the juices left behind and set it to warm until dinner time. We were rewarded with the best pork tacos ever. Simply delicious. A 1-lb tenderloin will easily make enough to serve 6 people, or 4 greedy ones. I'll be adding some BBQ sauce to the leftovers for sandwiches tomorrow. This is going in my regular rotation. Taco perfection!

Easy Easy and very tasty. But I would fry the tortillas as they got soggy with the juices from the pork.

Just made this with a 6 lb pork picnic roast (took 10 hrs) and the flavor was amazing. I can't wait for leftovers tomorrow :)

I do basically the same kind of recipe, only I cook with chipotle peppers, chopped. There are so many things you can add, and the idea of of unsweetened chocolate sounds wonderful.

Delicious! Do not skip the cocoa powder. It adds a real depth of flavor.

I have never commented before but felt I had to. Im not sure if its just different tastes for different people but I unfortunately did not like this at all. I followed the recipe and ended up throwing it in the trash after sitting down to eat. It was very bitter and had a bad taste. I would not make again. I was incredibly disappointed wasting all day and money to throw it away.
