Prune Filling

Yield 3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried prunes, chopped
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan; stir. Cover; cook over medium heat until liquid is absorbed and prunes are tender. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla.
