- 6 oranges
- 1 pineapple
- 2/3 C flaked coconut
- 2/3 C of flaked coconut: either for a minute at a time in a microwave, on a stove, in a skillet, or in a 37degree oven for 10 minutes. Be careful, it burns easily. With a small knife, peel the orange and whit peel from 6 oranges, slice them. Core and peel a fresh pineapple. Quarter and slice. Lay the orange and pineapple slices alternately on a platter, chill until cold (about one hour). Sprinkle with 2 T. powdered sugar and the coconut. Serve after a heavy or spicy meal to 8 peopel.
