How to Make It

Step 1

Cut ends from prickly pears. Cut a lengthwise slit through peel on each fruit. Pull back peel, scoop out fruit, and discard peel.

Step 2

Put prickly pear pulp, lemon juice, sugar, and 1 cup water in a blender or food processor. Whirl until smooth.

Step 3

Pour into ice-filled glasses.
