Ingredients
- 5-6 medium apples peeled, cored, quartered
- 1/3 cup(s) raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon (optional)
- 3/4 cup(s) water
- 1 pinch(s) salt
- 1 tablespoon(s) lime juice (if you want more tartness)
Preparation
- Mix together the apples, sugar, cinnamon, water and salt in a medium pressure cooker. Cover, lock, and bring to full pressure over high heat. Once cooker is at high pressure (rockin´and rollin´), cook for 4 minutes. Turn off heat and let it cool/release steam for 10 minutes. Open cooker and mash with potato masher or fork. Stir in the lime juice, cool, and serve.
