Wonderful! This was so easy and it was delishious! Made it the night before in just minutes with ingredients that I have on hand! Woke up, put it in the oven and...OMG! Delightful! A big hit with the whole family! I'll be adding this recipe to my holiday collection.

I love putting ingredients together the night before for a breakfast to pop in the oven. Great for family or company. Very good and easy. I don't like mushy french toast and this was not at all. Cook until golden brown for crispy edges. I overlapped the bread pieces to get them to fit

As I take the last bite from my plate of this delicious casserole all I can say is Mmmm...SO delicious! This recipe is a definite keeper. Would make a nice brunch recipe for family or when you want something to serve for a special occasion. I served with bacon and my family loved it. Thank you Southern Living for yet another awesome recipe!

Fantastic from the first bite! Great without syrup and the pecans make it outstanding. It was a Wonderful way to use forgotten freezer loaves of french bread too. Would serve to company anytime but why wait!

This is a great recipe - and easy. My company really enjoyed it. The only change I would make is to add a little salt - maybe a pinch (1/8 t) to the brown sugar mixture and 1/4 t to the egg mixture.

This recipe is so simple and earns lots of compliments. I made the recipe as stated, refrigerated overnight and everyone loved it. Our overnight guests all asked for the recipe. The six of us finished it off so for a larger crowd I would probably make 2 dishes. Absolutely outstanding and company worthy!

Wonderful!! This is a simple overnight recipe. Served it at a bruch and everyone loved it and wanted the recipe. I did have a hard time getting 10 slices of french bread in the 9X13 pan so used one slightly larger.
